Mayors Health Line Free Services

Posted on October 7, 2011

The Mayors Health Line is launching a new and exciting service to connect our clients to free health resources that are accurate and easy to understand. Forget Google or WebMD, discover a better way to get quality information with the National Library of Medicine!

The United States National Library of Medicine (NLM), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), is the world’s largest medical library. The NLM collections include more than seven million books, journals, technical reports, manuscripts, microfilms, photographs, and images on medicine and related sciences, including some of the world’s oldest and rarest works. The NLM has been indexing biomedical literature since 1879 to help provide health professionals access to information necessary for research, health care, and education.

I also wanted to make sure you are aware of the services we provide at the Mayors Health Line.  We often perform presentations and workshops on accessing healthcare throughout the year. If you are interested in having us present for an event, visit our website to fill out the Outreach Participation Form.

For any questions, or interests in our services please call us at 617-534-5050.
