CDC: More Public Access to Adolescent Immunization Resources

Posted on August 23, 2011

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has new downloadable resources for promoting vaccines for preteens and teens (starting at age 11-12 years).  These include a parent-friendly immunization schedule and materials designed to help doctors, nurses and other health care professionals answer questions about adolescent vaccines.

Also available are ready-to-use news articles that can be reprinted in publications such as organizational newsletters and Web sites, plus Web buttons, banners, e-cards and widgets for use online.  Downloadable print materials such as flyers, fact sheets and posters were developed in multiple languages and created to reach underserved communities.
