Posted on July 26, 2011

On July 28, 2011 the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources (DOER) is implementing an Energy Efficient Appliance Program. Households that trade in an existing appliance with a new eligible ENERGY STAR qualified appliance that was purchased on or before July 28, 2011 are eligible to apply for the appliance rebate. These appliances must have been purchased in Massachusetts. Online purchases are ineligible for the rebate.

This program offers rebates on ENERGY STAR room air conditioners and ENERGY STAR refrigerators. The refrigerator rebate amount is $150, and the room air conditioner is $50. Please click here to receive more information.
