Looking for Summer Youth Programs?

Posted on June 20, 2011

Now that school is out for the summer, children and teens will have a lot more free time during these next few months. While enjoying the warm weather and relaxing is important, they are also in need of summer activities to keep them busy and engaged. Boston Youth Zone has a website that will help you locate summer youth programs. This can be a great way to keep the youth safe, while providing them with activities they enjoy.

Towards the lower section of the page there is a summer/spring headline, here you’ll find great resources to locate programs such as basketball teams, football teams, and golfing lessons for youth. You can also gain access to summer reading lists and summer meal programs. Please explore these websites, as they have a lot of great information on summer recreation. If you are aware of any youth programs, let us know by commenting on the blog.

Also, please contact the Mayor’s Health Line if you have any questions about these programs. You can reach us at 617-534-5050.
