The Boston Public Computing Centers have aligned with the Boston Centers for Youth & Families (BCYF), the Boston Housing Authority (BHA) and the Boston Public Library (BPL) to offers free workshops and classes to Boston communities. Community Computing Centers are running at BCYF’s Mildred Ave Community Center in Mattapan, BCYF’s Condom Community Center in South Boston, BCYF’s Cleveland Community Center in Dorchester, BCYF’s Jackson Mann Community Center in Brighton and BCYF’s Leahy-Holloran Community Center in Dorchester. Class schedules are posted online and currently include Computer Basics, Computer Class for Seniors, Introduction to eReaders and iPads, Charlestown Open Access, Smart for the Start ESOL, and many more.
