In Boston, biking is a popular method of transportation and recreation. It saves you money, keeps you healthy, and is good for the environment. There are plenty of bike trails throughout Boston, here’s a map that shows you different cycling and walking routes throughout the city: http://trailmap.mapc.org/. This interactive map will help you plan your next biking outing with ease. To access the map, go to trailmap.mapc.org. Using the large interactive map you can see in detail where you want to bike, and what paths are available. You can also add routes to the map that may not already be there. Free paper maps are available at the MAPC office and through us here at the BPHC. You can also access this online map on Smartphones.

Remember to bike safely. Wear a helmet, and if you ride at night make sure to wear a reflector so that you can be seen.
