Is your salad healthy enough? The U.S. National Library of Medicine according to Health Day News suggests eating salads with many fresh vegetables and dark, leafy greens. However, it is important that you are aware of the dressings and toppings you add to your salad. It is recommended to avoid salads that have large amounts of oils, dressing and mayonnaise. Some toppings, such as cheese or croutons, can add calories and fats to your diet.
