Water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink. Floods are common in the United States. They are caused due to heavy rain when either rivers over flow, dams are broken, leeves are breached or when snow melts. Flash floods are the most common and dangerous form of flooding. Rushing water from floods have the power to move just about anything. From cars to trailer flash flood water force of nature you dont want to be apart of. You can avoid such events just by being aware of your surroundings and analyzing the conditions that you are in. One thing you can do is having an effective disaster plan. Having this will insure that you and your family will be safe when this disaster strikes. Another way is to be prepared for a flood when it occurs. Many people aren’t prepared and what ends up happening is that they are either stuck in the situation that they are in or, the lack of supplies they got runs out. With so much technology at our fingertips we are informed like never before. Using technology is another way to help in being prepared for floods. You can not only inform yourself but you can also infom others and get ideas. Nobody wants their belongings to be washed away by floods. So I encourage all to take the necessary steps and be prepared, because when your unprepared your prepared for the worse.
