DPH has elevated the WNV risk level from low to moderate.
Based on current weather patterns and active mosquito surveillance findings, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health has raised the current assessment of risk of West Nile virus for humans from low to moderate in Boston and Brookline. We expect a media announcement later in the day from MDPH, the Boston Health Department, and the Brookline Health Department.
